Are these three things the same? If not, which one should we pursue? At the July Ultreya, Sunday July 27th from 7PM until 9PM, we will explore this topic.

We will also feature our usual mix of singing, prayer, and good ol’ fashion fellowship. Why? Because that is what the Holy Spirit has moved our Ultreya community to do! So come one, come all, to the North County Ultreya at Holy Family of Nazareth Church in Leominster MA.

You might want to check a new Catholic community website. I know some of you like sites like Facebook. Well now there is a Catholic version called 4Marks.com. No, not four guys named Mark, 4 marks; One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic.

It’s good to have places on the web you can trust, just as it’s good to have friends in Christ that you can lean on regularly.  Do yourself a favor and be part of a small group.

We had a small, intimate, group of 8 men on this most recent men’s weekend. These men filled the chapel with song as if they were easily two or three times their actual number!

Continue to pray for our newest cursillistas as they embark on their fourth day.

Now it’s up to you to fill the weekends. Stop and think about what the weekend meant to you. How you felt on Sunday. How you didn’t want it to end. Think about the new friends in Christ you met, and the supports you were given in order to live your fourth day. Now think of who you know needs that.

Now, go plant a seed.

If you would like to introduce the teens and young adults (or anyone of any age) of your parish or continue to share in the amazing grace of Adoration, please try and join us. It is free and will be held for the time being at St. Joseph’s in Charlton until it grows enough to be able to move it more central w/in the diocese. It is open to everyone, young and old! So spread the word!

We know the benefits of Adoration to our Catholic community are enormous…increased vocations, deeper prayer lives, teenagers who stay connected after Confirmation and thru college, etc.

The evening will have great praise and worship music, talk/witness, reconciliation, and of course…Adoration complete with Benediction and Divine Praises. Young adult, Dan the Man from Leicester, will speak on Thurs. 1/10 and then Father Gomez on Feb. 14th. We will soon post the speakers for 3/13, 4/10, and 5/8. Let us know if you have any suggestions.

Our neighboring dioceses offer LIFT and Extreme East monthly. It is wonderful that the choices to express our faith and help one another (teens to adults) to enrich our prayer lives are increasing. And we know that it is great for the kids around the diocese to witness the greater church as they did with Youth Day here in our diocese. So we hope you will make the decision to try and experience for yourself and your teens, one of these wonderful opportunities to continue to praise our AWESOME GOD and keep His energy, passion, and desire to be more intimate with us growing!

“Illuminate”  Praise, Worship and Adoration:
Every second Thursday starting on January 10, 2008 from 7 to 9PM at St. Joseph’s Parish in Charlton, MA the LIFE TEEN program will be presenting “Illuminate”. This is a night where teens, young adults and those of all ages from different parishes gather to sing and enjoy contemporary praise music, hear an inspiring talk and take part in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. This exciting and spiritual multimedia experience is similar to the Steubenville East Conferences, LIFT Ministries and Extreme East. Dates include January 10, February 14, March 13, April 10 and May 8, 2008. You are invited, please come to join in worship of our God.
